Structure of Organisations

One possible application of the applet is to visualise the structure of large organisations. For example, this graph shows the structure of the University of Bochum in Germany :

This is the xml file used in this applet, and this is the property file. For a description of property files and the GraphXML format see the User guide

You see in this graph that one should keep the labels small and precise - I havent't done this here and especially the names of the different hospitals are simply to long to be shown nicely. But I think, nobody would expect a label like "Abteilung fuer Psychosomatik und Psychotherapeutische Medizin, Universitaetsklinik am Westf. Zentrum fuer Psychiatrie, Psychotherapie und Psychosomatik Dortmund" to be shown well.
